Who is Robert Cain?
Robert Cain grew up in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago as the youngest of five siblings. While being raised by his mother, Bob occupied his time by partcipatng in athletics. Dedicated to martial arts from a young age, he ultimately reached a mastery level black belt and taught martial arts for almost six years. Later in life, his passion shifted to hockey. Over the years, Bob advanced to elite levels of play, skating in ex-pro skates, AHL and NHL training camps, and with Chicago Blackhawk Alumni.
While playing and coaching hockey, he was leading a double life. After growing cannabis for twenty-three years, he was indicted for manufacturing and distributing marijuana and sentenced in 2012 to federal prison as the leader of an eleven-person conspiracy. Due to divine intervention, he only served four years. While in prison, he received his GED and worked on The Keeper series.
Robert has been married to his lovely wife, Carol, for thirty-five years. They have three children who all played hockey. In his debut fiction novel, The Keeper, Bob utilizes his real-life experiences to transfer his passions into words on a page.
